My wonderful Mother-in-law

Created by Heidi one year ago

I had the privilege of calling Pat, Mum. She was like a second Mum to me.  Dispite my divorce, she kept me close and said 'you're still my daughter-in-law no matter what and you're still part of this family'!.  She always looked out for me. If I was feeling poorly she'd make sure she sent soup and food to me to have at home, always stocking my freezer with her soups and delicious meals. We often went out to the farm shops, garden centres, tea rooms and for pub lunches. Pat loved her family and loved to socialise. I have fond memories of our holiday in France and trip to Bruge. We loved the markets and buying wine, cheeses and meats.  She had a great sense of humour and was cheeky with it. She was generous to a fault and always looking out for others. I really loved her and miss her so much it hurts!  Wherever I go and whatever I do, there'll always be something that reminds me of her. Mum I miss you so much  but am at peace knowing that you're at home with God now, smiling down on us, with peace, love and joy in his presence. I love you Mum!

God Bless! Your loving daughter-in-law Heidi. Xx
